1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the 0xArchive.io website and API services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

0xArchive.io provides a historical market data API for decentralized perpetual futures exchanges, including Hyperliquid, Hyperliquid HIP-3 builder perps, and Lighter.xyz. Data includes but is not limited to order book snapshots, trade history, funding rates, open interest, liquidations, and OHLCV candles. We offer both free and paid subscription tiers with varying usage limits.

3. Account Registration

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access

You may register via email/password, OAuth (GitHub, Google), or by signing a SIWE (Sign-In with Ethereum) message with your wallet. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account regardless of authentication method.

4. API Usage

4.1 API Keys

API keys are for your use only and must be kept confidential. You may not share, sell, or transfer your API keys to third parties. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are compromised or misused.

4.2 Rate Limits

You agree to comply with the rate limits and credit quotas associated with your subscription tier. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent restrictions on your account.

4.3 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use the Services for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Resell or redistribute raw API data without permission
  • Use automated means to create multiple accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Card Payments (Stripe)

Recurring subscriptions paid by card are billed in advance on a monthly basis through Stripe. One-time card payments grant access for 30 days from the date of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

5.2 Cryptocurrency Payments (x402)

You may also subscribe by paying with USDC on Base via the x402 protocol. Crypto payments are one-time purchases that grant access for 30 days. They do not auto-renew — you must initiate a new payment to continue access after expiry. Crypto payments are non-refundable due to the nature of on-chain transactions.

5.3 Cancellation

For recurring Stripe subscriptions, you may cancel at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until your subscription expires. Crypto (x402) subscriptions cannot be cancelled — they simply expire after 30 days.

5.4 Price Changes

We may modify our pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.

6. Data and Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate historical data. However, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any data. The Services are provided for informational and research purposes only.

The data provided should not be used as the sole basis for trading decisions. You acknowledge that trading involves substantial risk of loss.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Services are owned by 0xArchive.io and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without permission.

You retain ownership of any applications or derivative works you create using our API, subject to these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 0XARCHIVE.IO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 0xArchive.io from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
